The Derby Historical Society will have a day of celebrating the history of the local seafaring enterprise that lasted over 210 years.
Come out and celebrate our Maritime history with us on Saturday, August 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
We will have music from “Thyme Awaye”, Big Bear Trading Company, the Crew of the Mermayde, SZABO’S SEAFOOD, and more!
Entry is $5 per visitor. Sponsored in part by the Valley Community Foundation, BAD SONS Beer Co., and Valley Discount Wine and Liquor.
We will be following the State’s guidelines for museums during the current phase of reopening.
The Derby Historical Society is a regional historical society dedicated to preserving, maintaining and celebrating the rich and varied history of the Lower Naugatuck Valley.
The Derby Historical Society welcomes all visitors and is also available to support researchers, school or other program needs.
